Kaizer Chiefs’ Nabi Stands Firm Amid Interest from Former Club

**Kaizer Chiefs’ Nabi Stands Firm Amid Interest from Former Club**

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has reaffirmed his commitment to the Amakhosi despite receiving a tempting offer from his former club. Reports indicate that Nabi’s previous team, believed to be Tanzanian giants Young Africans (Yanga SC), reached out with a lucrative proposal to lure him back. However, the Tunisian tactician has made it clear that he has no intentions of leaving Naturena.

### **Nabi’s Strong Stance**
Sources close to the situation reveal that Nabi’s former club, where he enjoyed significant success, tabled an improved financial package in hopes of securing his return. Nabi, who joined Chiefs at the beginning of the 2024/25 season, has reportedly dismissed the approach, stating that he remains fully focused on his project with the Soweto giants.

“Coach Nabi has made it clear—he is not going anywhere. He is committed to Kaizer Chiefs and wants to build something special here,” an insider disclosed.

### **Why Nabi’s Decision Matters**
Nabi’s decision to stay is a major boost for Chiefs, who are looking to rebuild after a trophyless spell in recent seasons. His appointment brought renewed optimism, and his early work at the club has shown promising signs. Under his guidance, Chiefs have displayed a more structured and attacking style of play, earning praise from fans and pundits alike.

### **Former Club’s Pursuit**
The club believed to be pursuing Nabi is Yanga SC, where he won back-to-back league titles and established himself as one of Africa’s top coaches. Since his departure, Yanga has struggled to maintain the same dominance, fueling their desire to bring him back. However, Nabi’s loyalty appears to lie firmly with Chiefs as he aims to restore the club’s glory days.

### **What’s Next for Chiefs?**
With Nabi staying put, Kaizer Chiefs can now focus on strengthening their squad ahead of the upcoming transfer window. The club is expected to back the coach with new signings to ensure they compete for major honors next season.

For now, Nabi’s message is clear: *He’s here to stay.*

**Stay tuned for more updates on Kaizer Chiefs’ preparations for the new season.**
