Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has indicated that the club may not be active in the transfer market when it comes to signing another striker, as he is pleased with the options already at his disposal.
The Pirates boss believes his current attacking unit offers enough variety, competition and quality to meet the demands of the season, reducing the need to look outside the club for reinforcements.
Ouaddou has also turned his attention to the club’s development structures, where promising talent continues to emerge.
One player who has caught the coach’s eye is young forward Sifiso Luthuli. The youngster delivered an impressive performance during the Carling All Stars encounter, where he not only showcased confidence and sharp movement but also found the back of the net.
His display has strengthened the possibility of a promotion to the senior team, with Ouaddou hinting that Luthuli could be given an opportunity to prove himself at the highest level.
This approach underlines Pirates’ commitment to youth development and rewarding performance.
By trusting in both his current squad and rising talents from within, Ouaddou appears focused on building a balanced team while maintaining stability and continuity throughout the campaign,See more…
